I have been practicing law for over 40 years. First in my hometown of Church Hill, Tennessee. Then a little over ten years ago I moved my office to Kingsport, Tennessee.
Over the years I have practiced in most areas of the law because my rural area almost required it. For several years my primary area was real estate and closing residential real estate loans. I have been involved with commercial real estate closings as well.
Although, I filed bankruptcies all through my career, it was not until about 20 years ago I made it a primary focus of my practice along with other consumer issues and areas of the law.
I still have a general practice, my main focus is bankruptcy. Right now I could not survive if bankruptcy was the only thing I did.
My undergraduate degree was a BS in Business Administration. Both of my degrees are from The University of Tennessee - Knoxville.
